    Help! I'm wondering if I have black damask drapes (black background with white/cream damask design) on my one big window in my living room with a med. green sofa against the drapes and have 2 chairs on the opposite wall that are also damask but with a white/cream background.& black design with this rug...will that be too much black & white? I'm going to get green pilliows for the chairs. And my friend suggested that I put a green stripe in the drapes...what do you all think?

    It sounds like a little too much print and damask for me personally but you never know until you see it all together. sorry I didn't respond sooner...hope it turned out ok!
