Source for chair pads?

I am searching for chair pads for my kitchen chairs. The ones I have are just too thin and not cushiony enough. I want something about 1.5 inches thick. I cannot find anything that will fit my chairs. They need to have a curve at the back to fit into the curved back of the chair. Almost everything I see is straight back, basically a square, which makes them too big. I've tried Pottery Barn, Ballard, Williams Sonoma, Overstock, Home Decorators and Crate and Barrel. The only thing I found that might work is one from Crate and Barrel, but the only fabric I could use is a plain ivory (linked below) and I was hoping for some nicer fabric. Plus they seem kind of expensive for what they are. Not even any piping! I love the PB ones but they are too big. I was about to order them in the Giorgetta Bird fabric, which was even on sale, when I realized they were too big.

Anyone know of a source for this?

Home Depot has some for outdoor furniture that would work indoors as well. There's a limited selection of patterns, though. You might check eBay. I bought some last year from a vendor and have been very happy with them. Last suggestion is Pier One. Sometimes they have a huge selection of chair pads. However, I find that their foam ones flatten out fairly quickly.

Country curtains has rounded back ones. Don't know if they are right for your decor.

I just ordered some swatches from Country Curtains. They might just work. Would have to go with a solid. There is a beautiful toile that would be a perfect fabric, but too big. Maybe I just need to buy new chairs! Don't think DH would go along with that, even though I really do not like my table and chairs.

You could think about hiring a seamstress to make them for you as an option. Most professionals know where to locate the right types of foam, have it cut to fit, and can sew a cover using the fabric of your choice. I just did this for a customer. She already had the shaped foam, but the seats weren't thick enough to suit her. I provided additional reinforcement, and made removable, (washable), seat covers for her dining room chairs. She was delighted. Your local upholstery services might be able to do the same.

Try www.touchofclass.com. I just ordered a kitchen rug from them and I came across their chair pads since i'm in the market for them as well. I have plain ivory ones from IKEA and I want something that will coordinate with my rooster valances, but I haven't found any yet.

Have you tried Bed, Bath and Beyond? I was also going to suggest Country Curtains, but that's already been mentioned.

polly - thanks! I ordered some toile pads from touchofclass.com. Not 100% sure they will fit, but going to give them a try.

nanny2a - can you give me an idea of what the cost would be for that? If the ones I ordered don't fit, I would love to do that since I could pick my fabric. But, I don't want to spend a small fortune since I really don't like my table and chairs and will replace them eventually.
