GroomingGal~ Just wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me, so don't feel bad. My color was called "Hazelnut Cream", it too has a very yellow tint to it. However, I've noticed that during the day when natural light is coming in it's not near as yellow. I actually like the way ours turned out, but I know what you mean. Good luck! :)

Pete978- thanks so much I switched all of the lights to the GE Reveal bulbs and the paint looks fantastic! So glad I asked the question here before repainting! Thanks!!!

That reminds me of my old dining room, which I painted a very pale creamy near-yellow and absolutely loved, it looked like a cheerful sunny day all the time! When I helped my MIL paint her study in her new house, I chose the same color. She was very disappointed. I didn't take into account that my dining room faced east and had 4 windows, and MILs room faced north and had one window. It looked depressing. That was my first major color lesson, to consider the light. (She later craved color so much that she repainted it a hideous peach. We won't go there ;)

When I was trying out all my colors I put them under and around the blue reveal bulb light as that is the majority of the light that will be in the rooms. I didn't have lights at the new house to try them as would be the normal thing, so I just tried them at this house in different lights and saw how they would look there in specific lighting.

I'm in a similar situation. Paint looks too yellow at night. I will definitely look into the GE reveal bulbs.

Oh my this has just happened to me I’ve painted my hallway stairs and landing and I thought it would be more of an off chalky white but it’s so yellowy I’m having regrets . If anyone has any tips please help me

HU-400 is the paint next to white trim? What color did you use?

Hi sorry I’ve only just seen your reply. No i specifically chose to paint the walls and trim the same colour as I don’t like white trim. It’s still too yellow 😂😂😂. All I see is a lemony yellow hue 🤦‍♀️. Slipper satin farrow and ball. What did you use ?

No worries I didn't realize how long ago this post was lol I just struggled a lot recently with painting my walls white I ended up mixing simply white and chantilly lace but now that I'm finally done I'm thinking I have to paint the doors and trim they're a different color and now you can see they're not freshly painted off whites are hard!

HU-400 What type of bulbs do you have in your lighting. Try led daylight 3500-4000 bulbs in your light fixtures, and hopefully, it will take care of the too yellow problem.

I have the same problem and wondered if painting baseboards white would help or make the creamy yellow appear worse. I have changed out the bulbs and that did help some.
