Hi muskoka, thank you, I absolutely love her. She certainly makes a powerful statement when you see her in person. The artist's name is Pascale Pratte, she is from Montreal. I purchased my painting from a gallery here in Ottawa. I've pasted in a link to a short summary of her work and pictures of a number of paintings. Her website is PascalePratte.com, but it doesn't seem to be working tonight.

Let me know if you want to know or see more. After I bought mine an artist friend told me that she knows of someone (former art dealer i think) with a few of Pascale's paintings and he might be willing to part with them. One is enough for me for now.

Looking forward to seeing your Karbon installed!

I love that artist, and your painting makes a wonderful statement, it really speaks. I'm sure it's even more striking in person as it is always the case with original paintings.

MX gallery represents her in Mtl, it's a top notch gallery.

Super! Thanks for the details.I will definitely look her up.

sochi,
I have looked at the the MX gallery and her website. I like her work, the intensity of the colours and unique presentation. I bet in person they are quite mesmerizing! If your friend wouldn't mind asking if her acquaintance has some to offer as well I would love to see them too. Thanks for the help!

Hi again muskoka - I just sent my friend a message about this - email me and we'll continue the exchange off line. So glad you like her stuff, I think she is a very talented young artist.

Hi Sochi,
I wanted to compliment you on your beautiful kitchen and home remodel. It is absolutely spectacular.
May I ask you who is the manufacturer of the wall mount bathroom sink you have in the powder room and what faucet did you use with that sink? It is lovely!
Thank you,
Susan

Hi Susan - my powder room sink is made by Incepa, the faucet by VIGO. Check out both their websites, pasted below. You may have trouble finding the sink - I found it at a deep discount at the back of a store a couple of years ago, I'm not sure if they are still made. Incepa is a Brazilian company I think. I love the sink. Both the sink and faucet have held up very well with two years of hard pre-schooler use.
