Favorite Trim Paint

I'm using Aura matte (maybe some Kennon) on the walls. I want to find a very good trim paint, not oil. It will be a satin finish (not semi). The ones I've come across so far are Muralo, BM Satin Impervo, BM Advance. Any other recommendations?

Fast drying is very difficult for me. I am not an experienced painter. I did get some extender for the Aura but am not sure that would be a good trim paint and cannot deal with the gummy paint look with a fast drying paint like that.

What is your favorite go to paint for trim work and doors and why?

Why? because of the finish it leaves, just like oil

lol, Faron. I should have clarified, I do have a budget! Aura is about as expensive as I can get. I'm sure FPE is the best!

Easy application for waterborne Impervo? Do you like it as much as Impervo oil?

If you can get and can stand the smell, by all means get the oil!

You might want to consider Cabinet Coat. I have been happy with it. It is not a super fast drying paint.

My favorites are C2 LoVo satin and Aura satin. My primary concern when using an acrylic paint on trim is trying to get the product to look like it's sprayed even though it was brushed and this is why I choose these. It's been some years since I have used Muralo, but that paint was pretty good at self levelling as well. I struggle with BM's Satin Impervo with brushmarks showing but that product looks fantastic when sprayed.

The OP didn't mention price...;-) !

C-Coat does well where I work. C2's new Whey-based Cabinet paint is tough enough for floors, and looks great!
