Has anyone else ordered there?
If I had time and budget, I'd rather not use this kind of furniture, but I want to get my new house live-able, unpack the last boxes and stop stressing the small stuff. I'll replace it down the line, when shopping has become a pleasure again...
So I ordered some bookcases, they came while I was on a ski trip, handy man assembled them, tossed packaging.
The quality is decent, maybe even a little better than expected, but the color is just awful: 'dark oak' is a flame orange color, not at all as pictured.
I was wondering if anyone has any 'Macintosh Oak' from them, whether its a better shade. I could use these cases in a guest room, outfit my more public loft library with the mac oak if it's any better. The Macintosh is almost purple in their pics, could be even worse than the 'dark'.
Macintosh:
Dark [can't post a pic of what it really looks like right now, but this isn't close]:
If nothing else, I'll try glazing the 'dark' with a blue/brown latex paint mixed down with an extender.
