Yes, that would be an option however the TV is heavily used. :)

You can buy white wire conduit at Lowes or HD and run it across the edge of the countertop and over to the edge of the white tile and then up to the top of the tile. Would still see the cords beyond that, but not as noticable.

At one time I saw some flat wire that can be attached to the wall with joint compound and then painted over but haven't seen it in a couple of years. Don't know if it was one of those great ideas that never took off or if it is still around.

we use "cord covers" available at electrical stores. TThey come in different lengths, about 1inch wide. the wire goes behind the cover and then sticks to the wall, we then paint it the same as wall cover. Not a perfect solution, but better than you have now.

Or...you could have a professional come out and re hang it for your so the wires go in the wall.

These are great options. I didn't know about cord covers or hiding wires in the wall. You guys are awesome!
