Revised layout... comments welcome!

First of all, thank you to everyone who commented on my prior layout. I had been worried about the ref placement too, but I was also worried about putting it next to a wall. But I realize now that getting it out of that pinch point is very important. My updated layout is below.

- I have extra space on the cooktop/ ref wall to allow for space to ensure I can open the ref door fully. Not entirely sure how I will use it but I wanted to make sure I had the room.

- The downstairs layout has changed a bit and the stairs now share a wall with the kitchen - which has moved the pantry.

- There will be a prep sink in the island

Do you realize your pantry is very narrow? The shelves on your left and right will be 15" combined if I'm reading the door size correctly....you also will likely have trim around the door that would decrease the shelving size even more..... (if you expect this already, then ignore me! :))

Is there a reason the kitchen window isn't centered on the wall? Are you centering it over the island on purpose? (Again, this is fine if you have a reason... )

lolauren - you are right, the pantry is narrow. The bottom wall needs to be moved down - I may also make the counter just above it (next to the wall ovens) not quite as wide and move the top wall of the pantry up towards the sink. As for the window, I have it centered over the sink which also happens to be centered on the island.
