Nursery - paint samples

I had a sample of BM Manchester Tan and picked up Bennington Gray. Looking at the paint samples alone, I'm drawn to the Bennington's deeper/rich color but I feel it's just too green and doesn't play nice with the carpet. I also think it will be too dark in here.

My feelings on the Manchester sample alone is that it looks like a neutral putty color but I think it works much better with the carpet. I know it will also be darker once on all the walls (In general, I gravitate towards deeper/saturated colors) and I never saw a picture online of it that I didn't like.

Thoughts? I included pics of the glider since it's a key piece for now but it's stay in the room will be short lived. I won't be recovering the fabric but there will be a large pillow and possibly even a throw on it.

On my monitor, the colors in the bounce flash photos look most accurate to real life.

I do have a rather large selection of other paint samples and looked at most of the other common neutrals (Shaker Beige, Kilim, etc.) but they're not working for me in here.

I attached the original nursery thread but here's a quick recap - Woodland/animal direction but room needs to grown with baby. Dark crib. The plaid fabric will be the crib skirt, most likely navy blue sheets. I'm leaning towards navy curtains. Black bookcase with painted back (don't know the color yet) and the dresser will either be stained or painted - depends on what I find. If painted, I'm considering red with a dark glaze. Perhaps other red accents. Will add colorful art and mobile.

Also, if anyone has paint color suggestions for the back of the bookcase I'm all ears! It would be much easier to pick all the paint up at once (this weekend) and get the backing painted before we attach it!
