IglooChic, for one, has toekick drawers in all her base cabinets. She has Omega Custom cabinets.

I'm sure there are other cabinet manufacturers out there that also do toekick drawers.

loves2cook4six also has toekick drawers. Her cabinets are also custom, and her toekick drawers are really interesting. They're a great idea, but can be pricey.

I'm going with Ikea cabinets and I'm going to build my own toe-kick drawers. I bought some of the Ikea "Rationell" drawers, and I'll build a wood frame between the cabinet legs for the drawer side rails to screw into. I'll use the toe kick piece as the "drawer front", and attach it to the Rationell drawer, with a drawer pull matching the cabinets.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rationell drawer

We installed our own toekick drawers using the Ikea rationell drawers. The drawers are deeper than our toe kick though - so we had to add spacers in front of the cabinets that did not have toe kicks (corner super susan) so that their kick plate was flush with the drawer fronts. This was a very futzy project in our DIY kitchen - and we're experienced! However, If you install the spacers on the non-toe kick cabinets ahead of time, that will help. You'll just need to plan our how deep your drawers will be given the drawer face you attach. We did a piece of pine that we painted to match the cabinets and then glued a matching piece of toe kick to that. So once you have that thickness you can set everything up ahead of time. You also need to install the toekick drawer before you install those cabinets too.

YOu should be able to find a thread about this on this forum - or the IkeaFans website. But that give instructions for the Ikea cabinets.

I do love my drawers! E-mail me if you need more help.
