The stainless ones with the flared sides have always worked for me, but I find them difficult to pick up for refills and cleaning. My favorite is to use a heavy ceramic bowl.
What breed of dog do you have?

The ss flared are the ones that I have, but he manages to tip those easily. Um, it's actually not for a dog, but for my pot belly pig. In the past, he's always eaten outside, but he's in the house for the first time, and he's so darn messy. Unless I find a better dish for him (unlikely), he's going to have to have his meals in the basement. It won't be the end of the world, but I thought I'd ck to see if anyone had any recs for a good dish.

Maybe something like the one listed below? But it may not be big enough for a snout.
