Where are you located? I have had an experience with them, but I believe it depends on where you are and the independent rep that you work with.

It's a franchise, so I would check Yelp! for reviews in your location.

I live in north east Oklahoma,close to Claremore.

I used them for a living room/dining room project. The woman was very helpful, and even made two trips to a rug distributor to bring me actual rugs to see. Then when the rugs were in, she picked them up and she and I spent almost two hours moving furniture and measuring to make sure the rugs were exactly centered. Intotal, she spent about 5-6 hours with me and I only paid for the curtains and rugs I bought - not for her time. Yes, the prices were more than I could have paid had I bought the rugs online, but her help was invaluable and I liked that I didn't have to pay $100/hour, which is what some of the decorators charge around here.

Again, service will vary from person to person, but given my experience, I would recommend Decorating Den. I even casually looked into what it takes to become a decorator for the company :)

I'm pretty much home bound which makes it hard for me to go out and look at things.

I used them 24 years ago. Loved my designer, she had great ideas and set me up with some great deals and beautiful furniture BUT she ended up getting into a financial bind and was taking my money to pay for her last job so she took my money but didn't order my stuff and then just kind of disappeared. Even though they are franchises, I contacted corporate and they got another franchisee to help me out. in the end, i got everything i wanted but it was because the company was willing to step up. investigate the individual franchisee carefully.
