How deep are the cabinets?

We have french doors and windows on each side that lead to a 16x19' deck. We want to replace the deck with a sun/living room, hopefully next year. I thought about just making the windows book cases, but these doors are so beautiful. Right now we have large crown molding above the door and the windows are simply framed. How would that look with just these gorgeous doors in thecurrent framing?

We are custom cabinetmakers...what is displayed is of course a china hutch.
I am not sure how to apply this to your application. I would suppose a passage door manufacturer could make any door you described. Thank you for your compliment.

Thank you for the reply, sorry for the confusing explanation. The french door area would be the passageway but the windows on each side have a 10" depth. Would those openings be deep enough for this type of cabinet insert to have any functionality?

This exact cabinet was 15" deep to allow deep platter and crystal bowl storage.
We could make the cabinet any depth. 8-9" would work just fine, but the plates would need to displayed in a vertical manner (leaning against the back) using plate grooves in the shelves.
