Thank you, Irishdancersgram; things with the cat colony are a bit murky, some of the kittens have disappeared and it's probably due to disease. The Municipality does trap n euthanise stray cats/kittens from time to time but we asked the staff at the supermarket nearby to call us if they saw traps being laid for the cats. A few cats to get fixed, and things should be good!

Still difficult to grasp what's happened and what's going on here, but at least it's better than in Dubai, where they're focusing on one area, trapping and euthanising strays (whether fixed or intact) and pet cats that roam outdoors. People have put money towards getting strays fixed and yet the Municipality is culling them. They'll only make an exception if the cat is microchipped and wearing a Municipality ID tag! The cost of living is so high, expecting people to microchip and tag strays is idiotic! Feline Friends utilised funds to get strays neutered, and all that money is going to waste - so even the Trap-Neuter-Release program is on hold now. Just makes me sick!

At least I'm busy - the stray cat colony, volunteer work, my own five cats, going to the hospital (200km away) for my best friend who's fighting cancer ... leaves little time to think :)

Thanks again for thinking of me, it means a lot!
Hugs,
Pranjal
