To be honest, I've never done anything *in* the Kong. She's always loved it as is. But this...may require trying something new. Please post or email me some of your recipes.

I like turkey sausage best in kongs. Buy the kind frozen in a roll- like Jennie O - and while frozen, slice the metal tip ends off. Then microwave the roll for 2 minutes at 50% power. It will be sliceable now but not thawed. Slice about 3/4" thick then fry in frying pan. I usually add a little butter to help them brown.
These will squeeze into the Kong then pop into place like rubber. Very hard to get out and they won't fall out either.
I make this with breakfast on weekends and save some for the dogs.
