First the video of the chickens being released from a life indoors, in tight pens. How happy they were.

Now the cows getting to have a wonderful rest of their lives. It doesn't get much better than that!!!

What animals will be next. :)

I have to say, I was very surprised at how they jumped and bucked. I've never seen a cow do that, but I've never seen cows making such a drastic change in their lives and I can understand how they must feel!!

That was a really special moment for the people and especially the cows.

Yes, a special moment! I feel just about like that after this looong winter.

I used to board my horse with a farmer that had a dozen or so cows. This was Minnesota - those cows and calves were much better off in the barn in the winter than in the snow! I happened to be there one day when the farmer was letting them out to pasture for the first time that year, and we were both eagerly anticipating the "calves let out in the spring" joy.

The cows jumped for joy - the calves just stood in the door, blinking in the sunlight, not knowing what to do. They figured it out soon enough, but their initial reaction was sure a letdown!

The cows in the video had been out before, and knew what was in store.

I took a bus tour to an Amish area and visited a Dairy. I asked the owner how the cows acted when let out barn to clean it. He said "like a bunch of kids". It looks like recess time for the cows. LOL
