I love it when I want something (that I think is spendy....case in point, two teak Barcelona style outdoor chairs) and I resist buying them (and then kick myself all season long) only to be rewarded this season by finding them $100 cheaper!!

I find it so frustrating when catalog companies inflate prices by pretending they have some exclusive right to a product. Sometimes you find the manufacturer via a Google search, but often, no. Shades of Light does this with their fixtures. They remove the manufacturer's name and then tack a little on to the MSRP. Ballard does it with light fixtures too - and it's especially frustrating because they have such a high shipping scheme!

So, in addition to saving $100 I also got 5% cash back from ebates. All in all, happy early mother's day to me! You'll see me in the newly landscaped back garden sipping a whiskey sour in my new teak lounger in 8-15 business days :-)
