I promised to post pictures from our slab choosing appointment with a sample of our cabinets.

Our cabinets are American Wood mark in Maple with Auburn Glaze. The sample here is just the drawer front which is solid. The doors have a shaker style.

We chose the New Venetian Gold, which is the second picture. We had narrowed it down to NVG and Santa Cecelia and our designer threw up for a loop adding Giallo Ornamental since she "liked the slabs that came in".

The Giallo is the first pic. NVG second. Santa Cecelia third and our slab forth. (My name was later put on it!)

We are very excited. Our cabinets are being delivered Thursday and DH is working on demolishing the old kitchen this week. We have already started to pack it up. After packing up for 2 hours, I realized I did not take a before picture. I will post the pic from when we bought the house. We had painted the cabinets to satisfy us for the 3 1/2 years before we did this remodel. We wouldn't miss the old kitchen at all.
