Should I get this couch?????? Please help!!

I have been on the hunt for a smaller couch or loveseat that is of decent quality and not too expensive. Went to a furn. store called Halpern's in uptown New Orleans. A N. Carolina furniture company called Younger makes couches and other upholstered pieces for them. They are made of kiln dried hardwood, the frame is double dowel and corner blocked, it has the sinuous curve spring, the seat cushions have 2.0 density foam with dacron? wrapping. The back cushions are filled with some type of channel stitched fiberfill (?). I am kind of leary of non-attached back cushions as my previous couch had these and they were a disaster, but I notice my old couch's cushions were just filled with loose batting, and the ones on this couch looked to be filled with a much better fill. Also, the fabric is heavier on this couch and it is double welted so I think it will hold it's shape much better. Don't know if I got all these specs correct, but the couch seem very solid and well made. I was told the fabric is a cotton/polyester velvet, and the salesman gave me samples of the colors in the actual fabrics to see them at home. The fabric feels pretty solid. The velvet isn't very plush, which I am hoping will prevent it from looking crushed over time, but I really am guessing. Any experience with velvet upholstery?

They have an apartment sofa (the size I really need) in a blue/green/gray velvet he called "Silver Sage" (and it does resemble a darker version of Resto. Hardware's SS) that sells for $900 on sale for $499 as it is on clearance. I flipped the cushions, pushed on the arms, lifted the legs, etc., and it seems very well put together and is quite solid. The velvet gives it a lovely depth and dimension, and that color also happens to be my all time favorite color, I just never considered it for a couch. The style is transitional, almost with a mid century mod touch. Not EXACTLY what I was looking for, but I think it could work.

Can anyone tell me anything about Younger furniture? Would you get a blue-green-gray couch?

I am pretty sure this is a the style:
