This morning my husband and I met with a painter who is a one-man show. We have agreed to have him paint our home and it should take about 3 weeks because the job includes the ceilings. He loves our home--well maintained and beautiful he says. Well, after the paint it should be more better thinks I. Anyway, we will go from white to pale silver (SW Rhinestone) and pale butter yellow (SW Tea Light) with accents in medium teal. We live on a barrier island in Central FL (a block from the beach) and I want to keep the colors and intensities in a beachy mode.

Painting starts next Wednesday. I'll take before pictures and after pictures. Should be a huge change. I'm very excited, but truly hate having my environment disturbed. It's amazing to hear someone else praise my home, but I love it and work hard to keep it in good order. We've lived here nearly 11 years, and our job is made harder by salt spray from the ocean, but we've succeeded. It just takes time and money.
