my county is finally adopting building codes. They have adopted IPC 2003 effective June 21.

is there an online version of the IPC available anywhere? i have some projects to do around the house, that although they will not require a permit i would like to follow code. some may even require a permit, and if they do i woul dlike to know what is required before i get it so that if it is too big a job i can hire it out and use the code as a reference to know it is done correctly.

BTW, the codes take effect next week, yet they have no money to setup a permit office nor inspectors until next year! i guess they expect no work to be done until then.
