The first floor of my home had to be gutted due damage done by Hurricane Sandy. We are removing the wall in my kitchen to have an open floor plan but now I have no idea how to layout the kitchen. I have sliding French doors that lead to our deck on the very left side. There's 34 feet of space from left wall to right wall. We will need to incorporate 2 columns to support the main wall we are removing . We have the best view of the river where the sliding doors . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
