trying not to panic

I finally ordered my sinks and just about to order the faucets but......looking at all the measurements i am not too sure if my main sink will fit. I was not considering the undermounting clips and not too sure if with them the sink will fit into the cabinet or leave room for a faucet. My sink base is 36" and my counters will be standard depth and i also just realized that the backsplash is the same material as the counters and 1 1/8"th!!! I think that is the icing on top.

I ordered a 31.75" x 18.25" sink. The spec sheet is showing the clips and fastening method to be 2 3/4" from the interior wall of the sink. Does this seem right? That would mean 5.25 inches would be needed leaving me 1.5 inches which when you figured the backsplash it is gone(unless the counter abuts to the backsplach versus backsplash sitting on top of counter which it probably will!!!

Ugh, thought i was in the home stretch. Does anyone have a recommendation on what size would work best in this situation. Bigger is better but of course it needs to fit!!!!
