Sauna?

This forum seems to be the closeset for discussing this sort of thing. Just wondering if any one would care to comment...

Are they worth it?

Do you use yours often?

Any thoughts on the traditional/infra red issue? Pretty certain I'm going 'traditional' just because I don't think I want one of those freestanding box units, but haven't come accross any of the IR heaters that you can buy as a separate heater.

Any brand of heater to look for or avoid?

I bought an infrared and love it. It gets you sweating at a lower temperature. I bought a 110 2 person model so I did not have to get extra wiring. If I was to put one in and had to run electric anyway I would probably go with a 220 since it would heat up faster.

Stay away from the Chinese models- most of them. I got an American made model. Pricer, but worth it. Wood is virgin Alaskan, so not toxic at all.

I prefer traditional.
After a few dozen I find Finlandia to be extremely professional and helpful.
