Can't go wrong for that price and the style is classic and fabric looks soft and comfy.

Plus, in a few years if you get tired of it, since you didn't pay a fortune for it, you can replace it with something else - like a red couch!

THis too is really nice. I would probably change out the pillows.

THoughts?

Thanks!

I like the first one better. I'm not a fan of the really low arms.

I saw a PB sofa very much like the first one at an estate sale yesterday for only $150. If I had a need for one, I'd have bought it in a heart beat.

It depends on your look. No.1. could definitely lean toward the more contemporary, while no. 2., my fav, is more traditional. There is a Chris Madden chair I love, "Fayence", I think that might be lovely with it. Hope you can sit in them at the store, as comfort is key. I have not looked at Penny's in a long, long time. Surprised to see the nice styles.

I like them both and you have such good taste, I am sure you will make the right decision for your space. Just let us see it when you are finished.

I like the first one best and they have great prices on furniture.

The first sofa is very modern but I LOVE the second sofa. Nothing says home like a overstuffed comfy sofa.

You have to pick the one YOU love best or you will never be happy with it.

When you mentioned not having a lot of room for furniture and the room opening up to the kitchen and dining room, it made me think of my own situation. We can't fit a small couch with tables and have other seating also. We came upon this small sectional made by Flexsteel that we know will fill the spot and still leave room for tables. It's a lot more expensive than the couch you are looking at with Penney's, but wanted to mention it as it might be an option for you.
