Travertine pavers.

Do you have any other stone flatwork that would be appropriate to match? Or, a stone or brick veneer on the house to match?

Bluestone coping can go with anything, but IMHO looks best with matching bluestone flatwork or colonial style brick (soft brick, not hot-fired), and not much else. For a clean, uncomplicated look (your words), go with a bluestone deck.

Oooooh, thejimbar, I like that! Do you know what the sf on something like that usually runs?

jrobyn, the entire house is brick (all four sides), and we have a large brick retaining wall and a brick gated entry, so I was really wanting something else just for a change. Maybe the bluestone or a light-colored paver like the above would be best.

All a blur at this point...but I think it was around $5-6 a square for the travertine (clearance special, www.gothicstone.com) and another $10/sq ft or so for installation.

I love the travertine pavers. How are those installed? Do you still have the initial expense of the concrete decking then those applied over that? Also is that coping you are using similiar to the cantilever coping? Thanks very much. Beautiful pool!!

We have bluestone coping and went with "pewter" EP Henry pavers...It looks AWESOME! Wish I could show you picks, but I don't know how :) Good luck with whatever you choose!

Travertine set over sand and crushed stone(QP. quarry process), just like a paver. Coping is bluestone that was ground to a bull nose.

i have flamed bluestone coping and non-flamed bluestone decking. they do not match
