Just curious, what kind of hammock did you have? Hammocks are one of the main items used to sleep at night where I live in Amazonia. They are made of ootton and are quite comfortable. But, if you leave them out in the rain and sun all of them will self destruct.

The last one was the cotton rope type hammock. I did some research on-line and decided to splurge and go for this Pawley's Island hammock made of DuraCord which is resistant to mildew but as comfy as cotton.

Can't wait for it to arrive and let DH try it out.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pawley's Island Hammock

Hi Cindy,

Just wondering if you happened to order that Pawley's Island Hammock and if so what you think of it?

Thanks,

Melissa

Pawley's Island is the best. My parents bought one when we were on vacation over 30 years ago. We still use it. (Although we never leave it out in the weather.)

Vivere combo, the double hammock with stand is the best choice at Amazon, for indoor and outdoor. Before purchasing take a look on guide, if you know what is needed the choice will be satisfactory.
