Need backsplash suggestion :)

Here are some pics of my area. The cabinets are white, the pulls are brass and the counters are brownish gray quartz. I guess you would call it transitional, but I like electic as well. I am going to tile about 4 or 5 ft up the range side wall, so I want something not too expensive. Also, since that wall is so big and since I hate cleaning grout I don't want a small size tile, something bigger would be best. I was thinking a larger size porcelain tile (maybe 6x18 or so) but I am having a hard time finding this size. Any ideas?

Well, I probably hate grout more than you do, and I have none Yep NONE on my backsplash~~~~now how in the World did I do that?????. I used the same granite that I used for the countertops for the backsplash.

We've had it over 7 years now and we STILL Love it!!!!

Can you define "not too expensive" in $/sf? Also, I can't see your counter very well, so I can't get an idea of how much movement or what colors are really there, which makes it hard to make a suggestion. Could you post a close-up image?

Two good options for you would be sheet glass or Claymond sheet tile from Fireclay, but neither is inexpensive.

I'm not sure why you can't find 6" x 18" tile, but it's out there. The first one below is Athens Gris marble and sells for $8 a tile. Below that is White Venatino marble from Lowes, $88 for 12 tiles. Do a Google search for 6" x 18" tile then hit the Shopping tab. You'll see lots of options.
