If I had bifold door closets - I would upholster them.

Add batting - then cover with fabric - maybe a cool sheet(cheaper) and either add bric brac trim or nailheads.

You could even criss cross the bric brac or ribbon to make a message board for photos and special notes.

Another option is wall papered panels. Just add moulding around to make a -box- out of the wall paper.

Or mirrors if you want to bounce light around, but framed with moulding & not covering the whole door.

Just some ideas:)

dogridge,

Here's our closet doors--from Home Depot. Surprisingly, we did not have to special order them. They have a variety of different styles that are carried right in the store.

chrissay -- are those bypass or bifold doors? We also have old bifold doors for our reach in closet that I would like to replace, but I don't want to go with bifolds, as they stick out into the room and I'm always afraid I'm going to walk into one of them on a midnight trek to the loo.

nice ideas everyone. Keep 'em coming.

We're still putting our master bedroom back together/redecorating after a 9 month renovation. This closet was a double door, now it's my closet. It's a sliding door. The other one you see to the left is a bi-fold.
