egnyc - I don't have the faucet but it is on my short list so I'm curious to hear the responses. I'm also interested in finding out how people who have the pull down faucet like it. I'm imagining they are better made then the old sprayer in my very old kitchen which doesn't go all the way back in anymore and leaks!

I went with the larger of the two woodmeres, which is still smaller than most pull-downs. I worried that the smaller woodmere wouldn't be comfortable in the hand, since it's spout is so small.

Many pulldowns are just huge, much to large for my island prep sink. I wouldn't hesitate to use this faucet on a larger sink though. I think Moen was wise to give us a style like this in a more human scale.

The handpiece moves easily, though it doesn't retract all the way by itself You have to physically push it back in the last half inch, which is simple-- doesn't have to be coaxed or anything. The buttons are easy to use and the spout swivels relative to the hose, so you can have the buttons either facing you or away from you.

I like that it's a little traditional in style. Many pull-downs are too modern for my taste.

Mine works very well, we've been in the house since November, no issues yet.

Thanks! I also like that it is a bit more traditional and smaller than some of the others out there. My apartment is not modern and it is pretty small (I live in NYC). There will be cabinets above the sink so I cannot get one of the really huge ones.

I am in the process of deciding what faucet to buy. I guess the difference between the Woodmere and the Kohler Vinnata is that the Woodmere has a stop switch so as to turn off the spray. I think the Woodmere is a more recent design as it came out in '09.

The woodmere was on my short list and the only reason I didn't get it was price. I could find my Grohe Bridgeford pulldown for less than the Moen suprisingly.
The sales manager at the showroom where I was looking told me she had purchased the Moen. She kept referring to it as "the beautiful Woodmere" lol.
