The railings were custom made for the house. They are a combination of powder coated tube steel rails and clear cedar posts and caps. The metal rails were powder coated in a neutral metallic grey color by a local powder coating company. The wood frame was fabricated with a computerized cutting machine so that the rails fit into them perfectly, with no gaps for water intrusion. The railing components were then assembled onsite, in place and the cedar was stained with a solid color stain by Cabots. Hope this helps!
