For those questioning real vents..and a hint

First, for those of you who question whether you NEED ventilation, I took these graphic pictures when I washed my vent filters. Now I washed them about a week ago, using my hint below. My vent ran non-stop for 3 days while I was cooking syrup, so I washed them again.
This is a week's worth, and I do not fry anything! It is NOTHING compared to the first time I used the hint, and they had been washed with regular cleaner about monthly, before that. This stuff is GROSS!! I would not want this on my walls and cabinets.....
The hint???? Use Calgon water softener. You are welcome!!!
