We're in process of restoring a 226 year old colonial and want to get some feedback from others on enclosed porches. We currently have 4 sets of large sliding glass doors enclosing the porch. These really do not match the style of the house at all. Has anyone used storm doors with interchangeable glass and screen panels as fixed panels for walls? We really only need one entrance to the porch and so could have one door operable and the others fixed. Does this sound feasible? Crazy? Would you get the doors made in cedar or douglas fir? We are in Connecticut.
