what colour is your trim, is it contrasting to the navy walls ? the chandelier is hanging over the bed or where ?
with a modern and minimalist bed like that, you could be headed to an eclectic decor, how you pull it together with bed linens and accessories will make a difference.

the trim and ceiling are white. I wanted them navy but I need to keep the house sellable. The chandelier won't be exactly over the bed. for towards the end of the foot. I have a plain white duvet cover I was hoping to use. We're on a really small budget at the moment so can't buy all new stuff. Eventually I'll put large abstract paintings on the walls.
