9 inch Dresden

I'm looking for a free pattern for a 9in. finished Dresden Plate block. I've seen pictures of chunky blades that would work perfect for my project, which would be using them to frame birth and marriage names and dates. I'm sure that there are rulers, but I'm only making 5 blocks. I found a pattern for the large block I needed, now if I can locate one for the small blocks. I sure would appreciate any ideas.

Here's a link to a site with good instructions. It uses a wedge ruler but if you don't have one just cut a template out of cardboard in the size you want. I think the ruler is shown clearly enough in the instructions so you can make a template.

Thank You Kate. If I can only figure out the
sizing without making a bunch, before I get the right size :) I think I will try it using paper first. LOL I wouldn't want to waste fabric!
