I will be glad to make you some. I have some squares already cut, would you be able to use some single HSTs?

beverly

Vicky,

Sounds like fun! I think I have your address from Birthday Block swaps. If not, I'll email you.

Cindy

I would also be glad to help. PM me your address and I will find something pretty in the scrap basket.

Linda

I would be happy to but as I will be going away for a few weeks is there a dead line? I will be back the 2nd. wk of June. Jayne

Sounds like a neat project...I'll send some sheets. I'm sending you an email to get your address.

Lola

Thank you everyone for helping with my friendship trees!

There is so no "deadline"

Vicky

Well Vicky, I will make do when I get home. Just clearify for me abit--the sq. for HS tri. I copied measured 5 3/4" but you mentioned 6"s. Am I missing something? Jayne

The paper has to be 5 3/4 but it is very much easier to put that on a 6 inch squares of fabric so you don't have to be so exact.

Vicky

They are going in the mail tomorrow.

beverly

grammyp- I'll be on the look out and post here when they come.

That was what I thought but didn't want to miss something. TY Jayne

Mailed my 3 today...hope you like green and green grayish...

Thx...just the jump start I needed to tidy up the sewing room and get back to my sewing. Got a few pillowcases to make for all the year end awards for the Grands!

Gwen

Vicky,
I'll be happy to participate but can't get to my machine yet. Maybe next week. Good thing I sew with my right foot!

Kate

I received my first squishy in the mail...

Thank you Benken!!!

Vicky

grammyp- I recieved your HST's yesterday. Thank you very much :-)

Vicky

So Vicky, you don't care what colors, just a light and a dark???
And they finish at 2&1/2" HST's?????
Rosa

You are most welcome, thanks for letting me know. If you need more, I can send them.

beverly

Vicky, I had to smile when I read Beverly's comment about green and grayish green...that's pretty much how I'd have described mine too...must be the "in" colors right now. Thanks for letting me know they arrived. I look forward to seeing the end result.

Linda

Ooops, I meant Gwen's comment!! Sorry, I guess I'm not back in the swing of things after the first beautiful spring weekend we've had this year.

Linda

Rosa- yep, any colors I'm a little short on blues....

Thanks,
Vicky

sunnycentralfl and Lola99

Thank you both for beautiful HST!!!

Vicky

Oh good, I'm glad they arrived. I'm looking forward to seeing your quilt. It is going to be stunning.

After you cut the squares apart on the line, will you remove the paper? Or do you keep the paper attached until you put all the HSTs together?

I think I may need to add this to my list of future projects. :)

Lola,
I cut and iron open the squares then I pull off the papers before sewing them together.

This project will take a while, each block takes some time to pick the right colors to go together and to sew. But it is fun and I'm liking it very much. It has the extra special touch knowing my quilter friends all have a part in it.

Vicky

Vicky, I would love to make a few for you too. I think I can come up with some blue fabric.
I took a class with Edyta Sitar last year and we did the HST exchange. It was the best class I ever attended!
Have fun with your HSTs!
I will email you for your address.
Linda OH

Oh how I would LOVE to take a class with Edyta Sitar. I seen her on TQS and we have emailed a few times back and forth. She is a lovely lady.

Vicky

Vicky, I will mail you HSTs in the morning on my way to work.
I hope they will go with the rest of your quilt.
Linda OH

I received HST from Linda and Cindy.
Beautiful blues and greens :-)
Thank you both!

Vicky

Vicky,
I will make some and send later this week. I sent you an email for your address.
Sue/polardream

Vicky,
Made some squares today and will put them in the mail on Monday. Hope your address is the same as I have from BD block times. Jayne

Nanajayne- I received the beautiful squares yesterday!

I also received some from last name "Morris" in Geneseo New York... anybody here?

Thank you both!!!

My father is here from NC visiting and I'm in my sisters wedding Saturday so after that I'll get back at it. :-)

Vicky

I am looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Enjoy your family and make memories this weekend before getting back to the fabric memories you are creating.

Vicky, Did my package arrive?
Sue

Sue, yes it has. Thank you VERY much!

I'm sorry I didn't post, I haven't been on much lately.
Visit from my father and weddings!

Vicky

Vicky,
I'm afraid I'm too late to contribute, but are you still working on this quilt? If you are, I would love to do some HST for you now that I can sit at the sewing machine again.

I tried printing out the pattern and it came out too large on my printer but I can alter it to get it right.

Please, let me know if I'm too late or not.

Kate

Kate this project is going to take awhile, you are not too late...

Thanks
Vicky

I received 20!!!!! sheets from Kate. I think she might have been bitten by the HST bug :-)

Thank you SO much!!! The Colors are beautiful.

Vicky

They were so much fun to make I couldn't stop!
