Dig Day!

Well its has been almost 3 years of planning, quotes, and Town approval headaches but our project has begun.

Our pool is 16x28 Rectangle with a 10' Roman End steps so I guess you could call it 16X32.

We are also installing an 8' Sun Shelf in the deep end.

The pool is Vinyl Lined Steel.

Congratulations! Seeing the little one in the excavated hole reminds me of our pool build days when the kids would find every excuse imaginable to visit the pool site. We have had our pool for about 2 months now after years of planning. Once the pool is done, you'll have a deeper appreciation for it with all the work that went into planning it. Keep us posted on the progress.

Thanks .... and you are right about the excuses to jump in the hole....This weekend I had to "rescue" a flashlight, a chocolate covered marshmallow pop, a soccer ball and a stuck 3 year old little girl (mine) so thats ok.

They are just drawn to dirt piles...even thought I set the house rule to stay out of the hole! LOL!

I will keep you all posted...today the pool walls and vermiculite were delivered so it will be interesting to see whats been done today!
