Glass tile? Backsplash HELP! Need some insight

Hey Guys and Gals,

So we are finally at the backsplash stage..

and i think i made a mistake, my original idea was frosted white glass subway tile and a black tao to create a border through it, with gold inserts, Now i see the cabinets up and i don't know if the White subway, goes with the linen white cabinets.. let me know your comments, suggests for other colors? I'm so lost on this and don't want project to fall behind..

I think it's igloochick who has a similar stone and on some portion of her backsplash (might be a coffee bar area or something) has a glass subway that might work. Can someone out there find the pic or know what I'm talking about? It was a khaki brown/tan color subway.

i am also doing a different color stone for my island, a calcutta gold extra, so its mostly stark white color, with some of the "rust/goldish" tones. .. thats why i thought the white glass would work.. but i might be wrong..

maybe something in a color like this? If the linen white I'm seeing on my monitor is representative of the true color...then I"m not seeing the white tile with it.
