Snowflakes

6 or 9 inch white flour tortilla shells

butter or margarine

white sugar

cinnamon

a pair of scissors (washed well)

After kids have practiced and know how to make a paper snowflake, let them fold a tortilla shell and cut the

same. Open and spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Place on cookie sheets and broil for

about 5 mins. Just enough to be slightly brown and crisp. They will puff up a bit like a sugar pie.


* For Valentine's Day- use red sugar and simply cut out a large heart
