I have white furniture and lighter coloured wood floors and I am wondering if how it would look if I paint one wall dark brown or dark grey and the rest a lighter colour? My curtain panels are a seafoam green and the bedding has some cream, dark brown and seafoam colour it. Just not sure how to go about painting walls two different colours. Thanks.

You can paint the headboard wall a different color, I think the dark grey would be stunning with the light woods and white furniture. And especially with the seafoam green! [houzz=

I would really need to see pictures of the placement of your furniture to tell you which wall to paint and see colors in the room to tell you which color to choose. Can you provide that for better advice?

@ Purple Elephant Designs - I am willing to move my furniture accordingly once I paint one (or two?) walls the darker colour. As 'olldbob' said above, it was my thinking too, to paint the headboard wall. Or maybe even by that patterned wallpaper and paint it?

@Purple Elephant Designs - here is the photo. On the left side of the picture, what you can't see is the dresser and then a flat screen t.v. which faces the end of the bed. :)

I would suggest taking the seafoam color, white, and the tan color in the bedding to make concentric boxes or chevron stripes of different ticknesses on that wall. Replace the frame with a thick white frame on the artwork and bam...Feature Wall! You did it!

@ Purple Elephant Designs - And then paint the other three walls more of a cream colour? (I don't like the colour on the walls now - it's too boring)

The tan from the bedding, but a lighter shade on the same SW card.
