Which Induction Cookware do you LOVE?

I took a leap of faith and purchased the Silver Thermador Induction cooktop :) It is not installed yet and I have never cooked on induction. I would like to know what induction pans everyone uses and why?

I have heard Demeyere is good, but they are very heavy. I have heard good things about Cuisinart, but I have heard the energy transfer is not as good with this brand.

Any help would be great. THanks!

It should be better to post this question at the cookware forum. (IMO)

All-Clad. It is expensive, but I have had mine for 14 years (since I got my FIRST induction cooktop) and it is still fabulous.

I didn't know a cookware forum existed! Thanks.

I bought a couple of pieces of Demeyere on the basis of the recommendations here, and they are phenomenal. I got the cheapest (ha!) Apollo brand. They're not as heavy as my Le Creuset pot I had before, but they are stunningly good in the heat transfer for induction, and superb pans.

I've been really happy with my "Favorit" cookware from Ikea (purchased with my $200 rebate card from buying cabinets).

They're heavy enough to tranfer heat well, but not so heavy that handling is difficult. They clean up beautifully in the dishwasher, too.

I also have a few 365+ pieces, which is their lower end line and these work very well too. But the Favorit line is a little better quality.

And you can't beat the prices!

I like All-Clad, but the long handle is uncomfortable to me. I bought some Henckels Classic Clad stainless & am very happy with them. Good heat transfer, great handle, & much less expensive than All-Clad.

We picked up a set of Circulon's new Infinite Circulon a few weeks ago. We really wanted a set that would work with induction that was also non-stick, and this was the only set we found.

We bought them for these features and for the fact that they are marketed as induction capable.

They are oven safe to 500 and can go in the dishwasher.

Granted, we haven't used them yet, so I can't comment on how well they work. We're about 10 days from the start of cabinet installation.

I also have the Thermador cooktop (in black/stainless). There was a promotion last year that gave away a Demeyere 7 piece set w/ any 36" induction purchase. Customer service emailed me the rebate form. Soon after that they started printing an expiration date of September 1st on the forms. I went ahead and sent in my form (that didn't have the expiration date on it) in Feb of this year and to my surprise, I got the cookware set 2 months later. If anyone knows how to post a .pdf file, I can post it here for you. It doesn't hurt to try, if it means a new cookware set.

I got a set of Kitchenaid SS because I like glass lids and they were reasonably priced. I also got several large pots and pans by AllClad. Williams-Sonoma reduces the price on some of these, and others cost less from the outlet in PA. These can be ordered on line.

Lishaana, that would be great! I don't know how to post a pdf on this site either but perhaps someone else could help us out?
