Adding a french door to an existing opening

My home has a two story family room. I'd like to add a french door to the existing entryway to the upstairs bedrooms. The three bedrooms upstairs are accessed off a long catwalk that has a little larger than standard door sized entry into another hallway that the bedrooms come off of.

The door will allow me to close off the bedrooms for both noise control, as well as let the zoned heat on the second floor work more efficiently ( I currently have to turn up the heat settings for the second floor to compensate for the heat rising from the family room--otherwise the thermo is fooled and doesn't run enough upstairs).

Any idea cost wise what I should expect this to cost (frame the doorway, buy the door, install). I'd probably have Home Depot do it.
