LOL, Carolyn! When you said 'black & white' I said "huh? I see red!" I understood better when I enlarged the photo!!

Looks great! I think binding in red is a good choice.

I looked through your album. What BEAUTIFUL quilts!!! I love that rooster and would like to have the pattern can you give me the name of the company that puts that out. I also love the sunflower.

I think the Rooster tablerunner was a Jeri Kelley pattern. I'll check when I get home this evening. The sunflower I copied from a picture in Nancy's Notions. I modified the flower to a free one I found on the internet.

It's beautiful! The black and white fabrics you chose stay in the background and let the red sing out. I love some of the things in your album, too, especially the pink quilt with HSTs. That's one I saw before and saved for inspiration, because I love pink. I remember the sunflower runner, too, and had forgotten that those were both yours. Lovely work!

It has a classic beauty. The more I look at it the more I like it. If I had made that, I wouldn't want to give it away. Great work!

Thank you all for your kind words. Vicky, it is a Jeri Kelly pattern, but I think it has been discontinued. I can't find it online. I did machine quilt this. I'm trying to learn to machine quilt. (I prefer to send them out to the long-arm quilter. They are so much prettier.) I have a way to go on my quilting.
