I just had the funniest experience with my next door neighbor, Keith.

Keith is a 60? year old redneck who lives across the way. Despite the difference of a number of years and almost every opinion we've become friendly over the years as neighbors do. He's had to listen to me first rant for months about my induction choice and then having decided not to buy a brand not sold in the US he listened to me whine about the wait and the delievry. Eventually he listened to me for the months I had to wait before I could install them even after they arrived. He clearly thought I was a more than a little TKO and would often grunt in response and pass me over to his wife.

Today was the first time I got a chance to show him the induction cooktop in person. I dragged him over and showed him the basic features and how it worked. He listened to all my prattle and when I was done he said "That's the thing you sent overseas for?" And when I told him yes he looked me in the eye, nodded and said "Okay!". For him an okay was the highest praise.

Ahh. Felt good. Lol.

He also thinks the soapstone turned out well. LOL!
