Replace Baseboard Heating Covers

Hi,

Has anyone used this product to replace existing baseboard covers?

If no experience, opinions / thoughts would be appreciated. We are considering using these as part of a bathroom remodel.

I've not used that specific product, but have made custom covers for baseboards and radiators out of sheetmetal and hardwood, and they look and work great. Don't see any reason these wouldn't work fine too.

I was all ready to tell you how easy it is to paint them and they look good as new...but not good as these :) They're lovely!!! I'm saving the link in case I ever have a need for them.

I ordered a few solid wood baseboard covers from this company a few months back and could not be happier! Beautiful, quality work at a good price!

"Replace old covers in 15 minutes" it says, but you have to remove your baseboard molding first? I don't think it's as easy as it sounds.

I could not find pricing on those sites... how much do these things cost, in general? Are they like $50 for a 5-foot section, or hundreds?

    They look GREAT!!

We have the orginal 1950's cast iron baseboard heaters in some of our house, and they dont look too bad.... but the ones they put in in the 80s and 90s looks awful!!

On the overboards website which the link above goes to, you go to the oveboards assembler page and put in your length. I put in 120 inches and the price for one straight assembly was $930.00. Almost a THOUSAND dollars for a 10 ft piece. They got their name right! The price is overboard!

Yeah...the overboards are beautiful but too expensive.

I got really excited a few years back over them when I did a google search for that kind of product. I got a price quote and then repainted my existing baseboards for about $50 and 4 hours of my time.

You would be crazy not to take a look at these new slip on covers. No tools are required for installation. You simply pop them on. The cool thing is they come with lifetime warranty and free shipping. Take a look!
