Does it need to be washable?

I use Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue in a gray bottle. I find it at Walmart in the craft area. I use it to glue my binding down to the backside before stitching it down. I dries really fast but washes out.

Red, I use several things, there is a glue at Walmart in a tube in crafts called "liquid stitch" works well, E6000 also good. When I glue appliques or embroidery down I use them but I also use invisable thread to tack the edges with a zigzag stitch. Below is a link to Joggles, that list all the types of glues avaliable. Well I bought some Singer Sew No More Fabric Glue Permanent
so I will see how that works.....I will tack the appliques
but these appliques I want be able to do a zizzag stitch because of the details I do plan to use invisible thread...
I may also try that LOCTITE FABRIC PLUS GLUE BRAND EXTRA STRONG did you ever use that Rene?

Red; I don't remember that glue, I have used the Bo Nash powders, but so expensive. Singer glue is pretty good, I've used that often. Rene

I have used Fabri Tac and Crafters Choice fabric glue, they both work really well and are especially made for fabric.

I too have used Fabri-Tac and had good luck with that. I've also used one made by Aleene for fabric which also worked well.

hi everyone, I'm looking to take the lazy way out want to use singer stitch free fabric glue to make my valance's , does everyone think this is a good idea?
