Finish cabinets

I used some Howards Burnishing Creme, extra fine on some spots on my kitchen cabinet when nothing else would buff them off. It ended up making two areas on two different cabinets too shiny or high gloss compared to other areas. I am probably the only one who is going to notice it but it is driving me nuts. Hence the user name analytical LOL.

Is there anyway to remove this product. It is an orange oil with small buffing particles. I contacted the manufacturer to see what they think. I am waiting to hear back. Otherwise I may call my cabinet guy and see if he can take a look see and suggest something. The cabinets are only 2 1/2 year old and there is a drawer that is kind of hacked up from pots and pans coming out of a rollout too. Thanks for any suggestions folks!
