roof ventilation question

We are selling our house and the following was "noted" under the attic section.

"Only one of the three ridge vents visisble at the exterior appears to be communicating with the interior of the attic. Correction is required to insure proper ventilation".

Could anyone give me an idea of what I might do to rectify this issue? thanks

Call em up and have them reword it ... ridge vents don't communicate with any thing. Perhaps then you and others will understand what the heck they' are trying to communicate.

It means two of them are plugged - probably with insulation. Clear the vent and make sure there is air flow, problem solved.

Or, it may mean that the framing is blocking air flow across the attic space.

Some builders who don't understand attic venting have been known to block off (isolate) attic areas with framing lumber and plywood.
