I check in here every once in a while and may have posted once or twice...I use to hang out on the gardening forums alot when I first came to GW...then as I explored other forums I found interests in other subjects...I visit and post the most on the photography forum...

Anyway, I use to be an avid sewer...I still like to sew just not like use to...With the snow and cold weather my interest has turned to sewing and (at the moment taxes)...I got out my sewing machine and fabric and blew the dust off...My project now is sewing comforter or throws...I really don' know what to call them as they are not small nor are they big, using sweatshirt fleece, flannel and batting...I don't really quilt them in a quilting sense but make a few rows of stitching to bind layers...I have about 5 to make...I make them for my kids...

What I was wondering are any of you taking on a new sewing project? anything special? trying something new?
