Bernina 731 Vs. Bernina 801...Help!

Hello! After several years of wanting a nice older model Bernina, I have suddenly come across two! I have a Bernina Matic Electronic 801 and a Bernina 731. Both come in the carrying cases, but the 731 comes with a lot more attachments, etc. I have sewed some with the 801 and really like it, but haven't tested the 731 yet. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with these models and if they prefer either one. Thanks!

I have not used either, I have an 1130 and love it. Just have the machines checked by a dealer if possible. You can go to the Bernina site and check if there is a listing of differences between the machines.

I have 3 daughters, 3 sewing machine, and 2 of the girls are Bernina only. One thinks, she is taking the Bernina with her to college...over my dead body or the NRA quote...out of my dead hands.

The other two sewing machines also embroider and are not Bernina. The Bernina out sews the other two hands down.
